About the Campground
Lizard Landing Camp has 27 RV sites with CITY water, full sewer hook-ups and either 30 or 50 amp service.
Ameneties include: Solar heated swimming pool, a bathhouse with 2 full baths and laundry facilities, deluxe cabins with shower sink and toilet, standard sleeping cabins, Wifi and more!
Lizard Landing Camp is on 11.5 secluded acres, in Southeast Alabama, on the Georgia border, located on the Omussee creek, which feeds directly into the Chattahoochee river system, we have over 1800 feet of creek frontage, and are less than 1/4 mile from the mouth of the river by boat. Our "neighbor" to the South is the Omussee Creek Park which has 2 excellent boat ramps, if you want bring your boat, to fish, ski, canoe, or kayak.
We are less than 2 miles from Columbia, AL, convenient for quick shopping trips, and only 18 miles from Dothan, AL if you find you want more variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. While off the beaten path, we are less than 250 miles away from Atlanta, Birmingham, Mobile, Pensacola, Jacksonville. We are open 7 days a week, 12 months of the year, and welcome you to visit for a day, a night, a week, a month or more!
